folk art tramp victorian velvet eagles hearts document antique box carved For Sale

this is a really wonderful box, probably 1890-1920 range, I believe it was some type of document box, or perhaps a special box someone gave to a special person, as it appears to have hearts but also appears to have eagles on the sides, not sure the meaning, behind the cut outs is velvet a deep maroon burgandy color popular in the late victorian period, there is also velvet on the inside, there is a tray as well which I think that was added later but I cant be sure , this to me is a special box, would make a great gift for someone, a nice piece of folk art someone made on there own time, couple loose pieces of molding and on the back a moisture spot which probably can be cleaned a great piece
