c 1940s Handmade Princeton Tiger Felt Pennant 17x8 One of a Kind Ivy League:

Pennant and Princeton fans, it doesn't get better than this! Charming one of a kind handmade vintage pennant. Such love and care went into cutting and sewing on each felt detail. The maker also employed some glue to keep pesky bits like tiger eyes and the "i" of Princeton down.
This was found alongside a large Princeton 1943 banner. I'm guessing it dates from a similar era. The front facing snarling, teeth prominent tiger mascot image was used around that era.
Material appears free of any rips tears or holes. All pieces of the design are well secured.
Overall pennant size is about 17" x 8"
This will display beautifully. This is a museum worthy piece. It would look wonderful framed and makes a great gift for a Princeton alum or graduate.
