Beautiful vintage leather travel letter folder. This would have been used to hold your letters and notes. It has a nice “old times” vintage smell and touch to it. It was, of course, used when Britain was a classy and elegant place. The clasp has a solid “click” to it.

My aunt used it in the 60s.
