Vintage Japanese Silver Toshikane Painted Gilt Porcelain Elephants Link Bracelet
TOSHIKANE jewelry was founded circa 1930s or 1940s in Japan and specialized in fine crafted hand painted porcelain jewelry. This is a link bracelet stamped Silver and signed and depicts seven circus elephants in graduated sizes of height -- 5/8", 3/4", 7/8", and 1". Each elephant is backed with silver , each marked "Silver" and the clasp is fully signed. Closure is a slide in clasp plus a safety chain. Wearable length is 7". There is no loss of enamel on any of the hand painted elephants. Total Weight is 31.7 Grams on my scale. Overall condition is vintage excellent.
