Vintage Japanese Meiji Awaji Silver Wire Overlay Wrap Pottery Vase Basket Weave For Sale

This beautiful vintage vase measures 8 1/4 inches tall, 4 inches diameter. It is an orange/red tone. It has silver basket weave on top and bottom, with silver vertical striping throughout. Some of the silver or metal has tarnished as you can see in pictures. Also there are minor imperfections in the pottery, a few tiny air bubbles & minor scratches. I pictured every side and angle of the piece so please see all pictures. There are no cracks or chips. The piece is not signed or dated, I am going my my research only regarding style and origin of the piece. I know it has been around all of my life (and I won't go there) but I'm unsure if it was something my grandfather brought back from the army or a piece my grandma picked up antiquing.
