This set includes one vintage tablecloth and 8 napkins, all hand embroidered. Variations in the weave suggest the fabric is hand-loomed, as well. The edges are unhemmed, and have been finished instead by a frayed “fringe” obtained by removing the thread that runs along the edge.
The set has never been used, stored in a dry, smoke-free environment since its purchase in the 1970s.
