* I have several more magazines, books and journals on the Biafran War and history and related items. I was in Biafra. I am a survivor and witness to that tragic conflict and the tragedy that the emergent \"united\" Nigeria has become today. I am also the author of a few books on the Nigerian question.
I hope you will find some time to trawl through my listing for what I have to offer on Biafra, Nigeria, Africa and several other topics.
Thank you for visiting my . \"Dalu\".
PS: The SIKORSKY CONNECTION.
This magazine first belonged to Nikolai Sikorsky, the son of the famous Russian-American inventor, engineer and the father of the Helicopter, Igor Sikorsky, who designed and built the first functional (and later mass-produced) helicopter. How on earth would I know, you may ask. The subscriber label bears his name and his Hartfield Connecticut address at the time. I recognized the name and did a bit of Google research and hey presto the family has had a long history of family and business residence in Connecticut following his father\'s emigration the United States in 1919. For privacy reasons, I have covered up the subscriber label, but it does bear the name stated and an address in Hartfield Connecticut.
I wonder what he and his father, Igor, who died in 1972, would have thought of the Biafran war.** MY REF: U/L202312EYU
