This is an early program page from 'Thursday Afternoon, January 8, Special Performance for the benefit of the Municipal Fund for Open Air Opera, TOSCA in Three Acts, in Italian.' The date is noted as 1925 at the bottom and 'Met' is also noted. It is hand signed, 'With best wishes, Maria Jeritza.' It measures about 7.25" x 11". This is probably a single sheet from a larger program.

This piece is from the estate of Anna Sosenko. Mrs. Sosenko was best known as the manager of the cabaret performer, Hildegarde, and wrote the song, 'Darling, Je Vous Aime Beaucoup' among others. Later in life she was a producer of many star-studded theatrical events and had relationships with many prominent figures in the world of entertainment.
