The 9.5 x 13.5 grilling platform can be placed over a camp fire or hung from a tripod (please see item IN8511A Medieval Renaissance Tripod) with rings attached to the gridiron legs for that purpose. Product may show traces of soot from the forging process this will disappear with use, item also ships oiled to ensure quality. Makes a great impression in Medieval fair or LARP use and is an ideal piece to add authenticity.

Before first use, you should give it a good cleaning/scrubbing and long burn-in. Oil is used to preserve the iron until after the carbon burn-in process is completed.
