Like new condition.I purchased this knife in 2007, It has never been carried, used, or sharpened. I periodically applied a light gun oil to the blade for corrosion prevention. The box shows a little wear. I received it new, in that condition. The knife has a very good coating on the blade, from the factory. It has one of the most impressive sheaths I’ve owned for a fixed blade knife. The sheath has a latch which locks to secure the knife and a button to unlock the knife for removing.
