He knows his small and strong frame will give him an advantage against his competitors. However, he appears quiet and humble, as does his horse. This is his first race so he shies away from being overconfident. The horse is a magnificently muscular and beautiful. Any horse lover will appreciate the detail in this sculpture. It was crafted using the lost wax method. The sculpture stands on a black marble base and is signed Maius.
