Description This listing is for an almost new pair of EXTRA HEAVY 1 inch wide by 8.5 feet long (102 inches) waterloop end Herman Oak harness leather split reins. These reins feature slit braided 'blood knot" popper tails that are about the last foot of the reins length.

These TOP OF THE LINE quality professional horse reins are for everyday and show ring use by the Professional Horseman. These are heavy hand picked uniform split reins with hand beveled edges and rubbed with extra oil for a soft supple feel, providing the best ready to use feel! The ends are also EXTRA EXTRA HEAVY for that perfect show ring drape weighing almost a pound (14 ounces) each!

These reins are made from heavy premium Hermann Oak Harness leather and rubbed down extra for a smooth, rich, "broke in" feel. These Leather Reins are Hand Rubbed with for perfect balance in your hands and finished for a soft supple feel. They have the uniform balance through out the complete length.

Because reins are used as the line of communication that passes your signals to your horse, you should be very particular about choosing those reins. They need to feel good in your hands and good to your horse. They must have life to them so when communicating thru them your horse has a clear understanding of what you are asking them to do.
