EAST BOSTON, MASS. 1860s ~ Civil War Era CDV of a man in uniform, with his cap on the table next to him. He has a cleft chin and large mutton chop sideburns.Uniform is either military or occupational. No identification is available. **Please note the area of his leg that is darker in color and looks like an ink mark appears to be from when photo was taken, possibly on the lens, but I am not completely sure, other than it is smooth and feels as if it is the paper and nothing more, not raised etc.
Measures: 2 7/16in x 4in ~ no front border ~ simple small decorative back imprint ~ Its corners were clipped for easier insertion into a photo album in the period taken.Condition: VERY GOOD~ Please examine all photos as they are part of the condition description ~ This is an antique!
