This gold mylar foil, known as Kapton, was supplied as back up kapton in order to cover the Apollo 12 Lunar Module 6 for protection of the spacecraft\'s pyrotechnic battery. Approximately 5 x 5 3/4\". It has some slight tears and possible staple holes at the top of the piece but is intact. Very fragile, of course.This piece comes with the original signed COA from the Grumman employee that was responsible for supporting all electrical and avionics operations on the Lunar Module Apollo 9 - 17 and had the kapton in his posession for over 50 years.
