1963 LA Dodgers Press Photo New York Mets manager Casey Stengel Red Patterson For Sale

This is a tremendous piece of original dodgers history. This is a legitimate 1963 LA Dodgers Press Photo featuring New York Mets manager Casey Stengel & Red Patterson in the dodgers parking lot. Casey is shaking hands with red as the Dodgers clinch the National League pennant by virtue of the defeat of the Cardinals by the Cubs in a day game. They went on to sweep the New York Yankees this year and become world champions. Please note this is an original photo and not a reprint this is a photo from the publicist that gets sent to the newspaper it’s date stamped and also stamped on the back. This is from 1963 as you can see the photo curls up the minute I take it out of the protector like all old black-and-white photos on real photo paper does! This was found at a flea market in the bottom of a box with a bunch of old magazines I also have listed several other things that I found in this treasure hunt including a Koufax signed black and white old-school autograph.
