1950 Los Angeles NSC Fleet Award Green Cross @ LA Police Academy Panoramic Photo For Sale

Listed is this large black and white panoramic photograph of the 6th Annual Fleet Award Dinner for the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the National Safety Council. Los Angeles Police Academy, September 28, 1950. Scene shows a huge gathering seated or standing, beautiful detail. Several Green Crosses are visible around the scene. Signed on the corner and stamped on the back as made by Weaver Photography in Los Angeles, Weaver was known for their panoramic photos, some of which are in the Library of Congress. The firm dissolved in the 60\'s and all records and negatives have been lost, so this is likely a very scarce photo. Shows water damage on the back, there is a tear on the top and a small chunk is missing on the lower right corner. Measures about 20\" x 10\".
