Firestone Air Chief antenna. I'm the 2nd owner of the old stereo cabinet, 25 years now. Removed this piece about a year ago and about six months ago I finally came across a suitable stand. Not sure of the original purpose of the base but it was just right for this application. The metal rod at the base of the antenna slides down into the base for easy setup. A vintage Television knob is used at the top for continuous 360* rotation. Very close to what the original design and function within the stereo cabinet. thanks for looking
