The first cough drops, or cough candies as they were originally called sold from glass counter jars and were parceled out by the shopkeeper. This cast iron paper weight shows the company logo on the top side and the star on the underside is the form of the first paper wrapped cough drops. It is 12 ounces and measures 2.25" diameter x 1" high.
