Yale & Towne Antique Bank Vault Safe Time Lock 3 Movement Ely Norris For Sale

This is a c.1915 Yale & Towne Type Y-361 time lock. This type was installed in Ely Norris cannonball safes. They are very collectable with the unique pie shaped movements. The movements are numbered Y1593, Y1827 & Y3098. The number on the case and case cover is 741. The number on the round movement mounting plate is 114. It is in very nice shape but does have some scratches. See pictures. Y3098 has no escapement platform assembly and has hairlines/ding on the dial. The other two movements work and one picture shows them running. One cover window has a different type key winding opening and I believe it is plexiglass. The automatic key wound bolt motor of the time lock operates. The two side locking bolts will extend by turning the key counterclockwise till it latches (with time above 0 on movements). They will retract when time runs down. The video has the gear train held on the movement with no escapement to wind time on it. I am including a movement winding key and a key for the automatic. I made a key to open the cover out of an old safe deposit key that I will include. This is very heavy-about 16 lbs. It will be double boxed.
