The Xezo Paua Abalone fountain pen features a smooth-writing, medium-point, gold-plated stainless-steel nib and a screw-on cap. These pens have a durable, solid brass construction overlaid with panels of Paua seashell of the highest grade. The brass fittings are plated in shiny chrome. These pens continue the tradition of the classic Xezo Maestro series, and were created to showcase the natural iridescent artistry of Paua seashell. These panels of colorful nacre were hand-inlaid onto the solid brass barrel, polished, then sealed in multiple layers of hand-polished clear lacquer for added shine and protection. Each of these handcrafted writing instruments is limited edition and individually serialized. Please note that since we use real Paua seashell, no two panels are alike. This natural material can range in base color from black to blue green; colorful overtones range in a spectrum of hues from pink, red, green, purple, blue, and everything in between.
Set comes with the pen, gift box, 4 cartridges, piston converter, certificates, and a 3-year warranty card. The fountain ink refill is a standard sized cartridge and is compatible with a variety of commercially available fountain ink refills
