WWII / WW2 U.S. Army, U.S. Military, WESTERN Fighting Knife, Stiletto Type, Leather Sheath, Very Nice Condition. Original WWII WESTERN Fighting Knife. The WWII WESTERN Knife has a long Stiletto type blade which still has almost all of the original blue finish. One side of the Blade is nicely manufacture stamped “WESTERN, BOULDER, COLO. W/ Patent Number” (see picture). The leather handle is in great condition. The Western Knife is all very tight and has no looseness of any of the parts. The Blade is in very nice condition and has no nicks or dings along the edge. The Blade measures about 6 7/8” inches in length. The entire Knife measures about 11 1/4” inches in length. The Brown Leather Sheath is not the original Western Sheath, but the Knife fits very nicely into the leather sheath that it was found with and the sheath shows age and wear.
