WWII NAVY 1943 DATED BU SHIPS HAMILTON MODEL 22 DECK CHRONOMETER For Sale

Great find of a beautifully preserved 1943 Hamilton Model 22 deck clock with Mahogany box. All numbers match on bezel, case and back.Movement is dated 1942- very common for this era. Very much a vintage 75 year old item in excellent cosmetic condition for its age. just the lightest scuffs to the box and a few areas of patina to the brass.Slight scuff to the acrylic crystal at the edge where the 2 is on the dial- see photo # 7. I have been keeping track of this for 8 days now and it keeps excellent time. These are routinely overhauled by the navy but I have no idea when it was removed from service. As it is now it keeps great time- It could benefit from a service with modern lubricants.
