Offered here is this wonderful solid Wood Torchiere Candle Stand with Barley Twist Column. I am unsure of the exact age of the stand. It is certainly Victorian, and probably dates to the late 19th Century. It is made of solid wood, and has some lovely ornate carved details on it. There are a few areas where the wood is beginning to crack, but the stnad overall is in stable, sturdy condition. The detail all throughout the stand is beautiful and amazing. The stand looks like it was painted in gold originally, but this is very faded to brown over most of the stand. It is 61.5" tall, 14.75" in diameter at tegh base, 9.5" in diameter at the top, with a 7.5" inner diameter and has a 4" opening in the center. It is a beautiful torchiere stand with a very regal style.
