This recent find is from the Estate of a Retired Military Colonel who served in WWII / Korea as a NAVAL AVIATOR and finished his career with NASA (MSFC) and then Rockwell. Thisis a WWII US ARMY / NAVY DESKTOP RECOGNITION PICTORIAL MANUAL with wood back cover. Manual is in EXCELLENT condition for use and age. One Page Supplement Insert has been folded and stored inside the manual. this pages has creases and some wear around edges.PAGES have NOV, 1943 FROM DATA CURRENTLY AVAILABLE on bottom left side and SUPPLEMENT ONE WAR DEPARTMENT FM 30-30 NAVY DEPARTMENT BUAER 3 on the bottom right side. Manual includes pictorial guide including TABS with information for USA ARMY, USA NAVY, UK (BRITISH), REICH (GERMAN), JAPAN, ITALY, USSR (RUSSIAN), and MISC AIRCRAFT. Also included is a folded ONE PAGE INSERT DATED DECEMBER 1, 1944 FROM DATA CURRENTLY AVIALABLE on bottom left side and WAR DEPARTMENT FM 30-30 NAVY DEPARTMENT BAUER 3 on bottom right side.
