WW 2 Italian Army Alpine Alpini Hat Size Approximately 7 1/4 Excellent Condition For Sale

This is an Italian WWII felt “Robin Hood” style Alpine Division cap in excellent condition with a leather band bearing 5 stars with a tricolor rope design around the base.

The front features an Italian Alpine Division badge, with an eagle perched on double hunting horns, with a green field in the middle.

The left side has an original leather fitting to hold the iconic feather on the cap.

The inside liner is rayon, marked with maker logo “Cappello Alpino”. Approximate size US 7 1/4 (59 cm).
