Leekity Zuni Sterling Silver and Blue Turquoise, Mother of Pearl, Red Coral, and Black Onyx Ring, with an Intricate Inlaid Design and Surrounded by Southwest Stamped Details.
The ring is approximately a size 11. The face of the ring measures just under approximately 9/16 of an inch, or about 14 millimeters, high, by just over about 5/16 of an inch, or about 8 millimeters, wide, and projects roughly 3/16 of an inch. The band narrows in back to just under about 1/8 of an inch, or around 3 millimeters, wide. (I have included a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The ring is not marked as to content, but discreetly acid tested as solid Sterling silver. It is hand signed inside the band, \"E. Leekity\", and marked, \"Zuni\", in the same hand. The writing was very difficult to photograph against the shiny silver. Weight is approximately 3.1 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course. This is a vintage piece, which has been worn and enjoyed. There will the expected surface scratches and possibly tiny dings in the silver from normal wear. The ring band is still round and true. I saw no damage to the inlay, just natural surface irregularities. I have polished this, but there are likely areas of missed tarnish. This is a handmade item, and will not be machine-perfect in any way. Please try to overlook the dark and/or blotchy areas in the photos, which are merely the reflections of the black camera lens and tripod. A very nicely handcrafted vintage Zuni Inlaid Sterling silver ring. Great color and fine detail. A standout signed native American piece by a member of the famous Leekity family of artisans. The USPS has raised rates, yet again, so we\'ve had to increase shipping prices to cover the higher cost. Sorry, but there\'s nothing we can do! I do my best to give honest and accurate descriptions of every item I sell, but I am no expert. So please, please, look at all of the photos and read descriptions closely before you offer. Please email me for any clarifications you need prior to sale\'s end. Please be aware that all weights and measurements are approximate! I am using an inexpensive scale and a ruler.We go to great lengths to provide copious measurements, a coin in the photos for scale, etc. It behooves the buyer to do us the courtesy of using these tools. Unless otherwise noted, everything we sell is vintage, antique, used, secondhand, and will have commensurate wear.
Shipping: We have decided to change our shipping policy, and no longer include insurance on the less expensive items. (Simply put, if the shipping cost listed is less than $4.30, no insurance is included.) says we have to include it, and we were following that mandate, but other sellers are not. Our buyers have been voting on the issue by leaving us low star ratings on shipping cost, which we simply cannot afford. So, now the shipping cost you see will include delivery confirmation only, no insurance. We just don\'t know what else to do. We encourage you to add insurance, but will make it optional. Let us know if you\'d like to add insurance before you pay, so we may add the cost to your invoice. The USPS charges anywhere from $2.10 and up, depending on the amount insured. When offered, free shipping applies within the US only.
