Rare, beautiful condition vintage Sumo program.This was the tournament where Chiyonofuji got his 1,000th win.Many great pictures of the legends of sumo at that time:
Yokozunas: Hokutoumi and Onokuni
Ozeki: Konishiki and Asahifuji (became the 63rd Yokozuna later that year)And the young future Yokozuna\'s and one of the great rivalries in Sumo:
Takanohana, Wakanohana, and Akebono.Also included: a supplement with articles on brothers in Sumo.This is my own personal copy that I purchased when I lived in Japan at that time.
