Vintage, retired, handmade and hand painted in Germany this Rosenthal porcelain Siamese kitten or cat figurine was designed by well known deceased German artist, Fritz Heidenreich (1895-1966). Great attention to detail - expressive blue eyes, white, grayish black, and black markings on its' coat, black nose and is in reclining position with its' tail straight up. The dark green hallmark on the underside represents that this figurine was made by Rosenthal in the 1940's. In excellent pre-owned condition. No damages or repairs.Measures: approximately 2.25” high x 2.5" x 5.25” long.Hallmark reads: Rosenthal, Germany, Kunstabteilung, Selb, Handgemalt, B1 and toward one end the embossed 1907.Artist name "F. Heidenreich" is embossed on the back side bottom of the cat.
