Description Up for sale is vintage Roger & Gallet Essence Santalia Perfume with a frozen stopper. This fragrance was introduced in 1904, and is considered a floral – earthy.is may have been opened at some point in time. I have had this bottle for a long time. Fragrance is not guaranteed, but since more “natural ingredients were used long ago, this could be a sleeper”.

The bottle is a clear glass crystal and is in excellent condition.
- I have taken photos of all sides of this bottle. When you turn the bottle the two sides and back of the bottle have a slant design on the glass, that is you can feel a depression where the slant is.
- The underside of the bottle is smooth on the edge and then it has a concave center.
- Prior to shipping, I will remove the paper inventory tag tapped to the underside.
- There appears to be a small portion of the paper neck label, but the old gold ribbon covers it up. This ribbon is very old and dirty and frayed, but I will leave it for the new owner to remove.
The square faceted stopper is frozen in the bottle neck and is in very good condition.
- I cannot smell any fragrance. Due to the age, I have no idea if the fragrance still smells like it should but because it is old, the perfume is not guaranteed. However, since this is an old fragrance, and more natural ingredients were used when this was made, there is a chance that the fragrance may not smell bad. However, it would not have the longevity of a new bottle off the shelf.
The paper label on the front of the bottle is still colorful and edged in gold. I see one dark mark on the lower left center area, but that is not surprising due to age.
Height of the bottle is: just under 4.25 inches.
