Richard Hudnut (1855 to 1928) was a recognised American business man who was the first to achieve international success in the cosmetics industry. The company, at one point, had offices on Fifth Avenue, New York, and on the Rue de la Paix, Paris. Although his fortune was built around cosmetics and beauty products, he preferred to be known as a \"perfumer\". This gorgeous Art Deco compact not only has a section for powder, it has rogue and a neat little lipstick, what more does one need. It has a typical Art Deco design, inlaid with beautiful blue enameling.
