Vintage RARE 1952 HAEGER Boy & Girl Figures w/Baskets Planters #1253 & 1254 W@W For Sale

Up for sale is an extremely RARE Set of Figural Planters from Haeger Pottery! I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a set of these listed on before! This boy and girl are listed as brother and sister figural planters in the Haeger Potteries book by David Dilley. They are both holding baskets and are painted in black and an off white to ivory color with a high gloss finish. Numbered as 1253 and 1254 in his book, page 281, only the girl has the original Haeger sticker still attached.

Both are in beautiful condition for their age…with the exception of both of them having a hairline in their baskets, I’ve taken close up pictures of the inside and outside of the baskets where the hairline is and neither of them are visible from the outside of the basket, only the inside… so they both might be hairlines to the paint and gloss and not to the clay. The girl has a tiny paint skip on her nose and a tiny chip where the hairline is on her basket. The boy has a tiny chip to his big toe. Other than those things, these two are just beautiful MCM pieces of Haeger! You may never see a pair offered again like this, especially with the gorgeous two tone paint as they are shown in the book. The last picture I’ve listed is a picture from the Haeger book with the dimensions and information on them.
