Vintage P. Maeder Hand Carved Wood Man Figurine Figure Statue Switzerland 6"tall For Sale

This vintage hand-carved wood figurine by P. Maeder from Switzerland depicts a man with a stick under one arm and missing a pipe/cigar. The 6" tall figurine stands on a base measuring 2-1/2" x 1-3/4". The boss man/folk art subject makes it suitable for all occasions.The intricate details of the hand-carved features make this figurine a valuable addition to any collection. Research on indicates this is a P. Maeder Carved Statue and one identical to him had a sticker on the bottom (which this one does not have) which also read Lucerne, Switzerland. He is missing a cigar or Pipe in his mouth (hole is there) and there is a broken off stick under one arm. There is also a handwritten name of the base front. I cannot make out what it reads.
