Vintage New Handmade Unisex Japanese Yukata Summer Kimono, 1960s:

A yukata is an unlined cotton summer kimono, worn in more casualsettings. This unisex yukata is handmade using nice and sturdy kimono fabrics (feellike cotton canvas). Like other forms of traditional Japanese clothing, thisyukata is made with a straight seam and wide sleeves using a one-size bolt offabric with 2 front panels (Maemigoro) on the left and right and 2 panels on the back (Ushiromigoro/backpanels; see the last picture for the picture illustration of a Japanese kimonoconstruction). As with kimono, the left side of the yukata is wrapped over theright side, and secured with either a stiff, one-layer obi, or a softer, alsoone-layer obi (obi belts are available on separate listings).

Nice and beautiful patterns, very colorful.
