Still in great shape, Bakelite, portable suitcase tube radio

I am not radio repair person..

When I first started to plug it in. I saw spark at the plug.

So no further testing was performed on item. And I did not plug in the battery. .(I didn’t see any point being how old it is.)

Item being sold as is for an inside electrical restoration project. The outside of the case is absolutely beautiful. .
