Vintage MCM Hallicrafters Echophone Model EC-114 Multi Band Radio Looks Sharp For Sale

Hard to find mid-century modern Hallicrafters Echophone Radio, Model EC-114 with a mahogany veneer body.  This unit is hard to come by and it has a great retro look.  Radio has 3 bands - AM, SW and Police. Unfortunately, I was not able to get the unit to power up - I suspect the issue may be with the on/off mechanism, as it does not seem to click properly when turned on.  All of the tubes tested good on my Eico model 625 tube tester.  Cosmetically the unit is in very good condition, with the finish all original - simply cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax.  The dial indicator and band spread scale needle function properly.  I believe the two knobs on the outside are not original.  The grill cloths are in good condition, with no fraying or tears.  The power cord is in very good condition.  In order to ensure safe delivery, the unit will be double boxed.  Do not hesitate to make an offer, all will be considered.
