This is a fairly large kokeshi doll, measuring approximately 9.8 inches (25cm) in height and weighing approximately 0.9 lb (396g).Dento, or\"traditional\", kokeshi have been produced mostly in the Tohoku district in northeastern Honshu, Japan. Traditional kokeshi is characterized by its distinct style that remains little changed. Old kokeshi are praised for their authentic character and are often collectible items.#23
