Vintage Guaranteed Plumb 1936 - 1937 Boy Scout Axe with custom sheath:

This is a Plumb boy scout hatchet. Marked Guaranteed Plumb instead of Genuine Plumb like many others because this is an earlier hatchet. I was told these are uncommon, only made in 1936 and 1937 by Plumb.
This is vintage original. Not some hack job, not some fake engraving. This is the real deal. I'm a seller with over 1600 positive 100% response so don't fall for fly by night scammers who have ONE listing. Check out all my other listings, I do all the polishing and restoration work myself, I'm a one man shop!
The head was mirror polished all around. The handle isn't original but it is solid hickory. The handle does have one small gash in it you can see from the pics. The handle was sanded, treated with boiled linseed oil, stained, and tung'd up.
The handle is 14.5" long, the total weight without sheath is 20.5 oz on this little guy.
I did not make the sheath but I had a friend make it to match. Great fit, nice custom sheath.
