Ultra portable, excellent condition, leather caseFrom 1924 the company G.F. Grosser, Markersdorf manufactured typewriters in addition to the numerous textile machines (history of GROMA). The well-known designer Max Pfau, who had also designed the Continental typewriter, was able to be involved in the construction of the GROMA standard typewriter. This ensured that a sophisticated typewriter that met the latest requirements was brought onto the market.
In contrast to other manufacturers, the frame of this typewriter was not made of gray cast iron but of cast steel and was therefore practically unbreakable. This was of course highlighted in the advertising.
After World War II, this machine was revised and modernized by engineer Karl Ronneberger and came out in different colors.The one from L.F. The \"pocket typewriter\" designed by Pascher before the war was also brought onto the market in 1952 as the \"Gromina\". At that time it was considered the thinnest typewriter in the world.
