Vintage German Carved Wood Automation Drunk Whistler Sculpture-Karl Griesbaum?? For Sale

Even though it\'s not marked Karl Griesbaum anywhere that I can see, it looks like other examples of his work I\'ve seen on the internet. This stands about 7 5/8\" tall, the base is 4 3/8\" long and 3 1/8\" wide. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. I don\'t think that\'s a chip on the base in the back on the right side because it\'s a perfect half circle like they carved it there for a purpose. The bird shaped key is the one that winds it up and there\'s another little loose key inside I didn\'t take a picture of. When you wind it up, all the movements appear to work, but the bellows have a couple tears that I can see, so it can\'t create enough air to make it whistle. Also, his head moves back and forth, but only slightly. The old black tape was put on to make the door stay, but it fits snuggly enough it doesn\'t really need the tape.
