Vintage Footed Loucarte (Portugal) White 3 Quart Soup Tureen W/Lid & Ladle
A beautiful white covered tureen by Loucarte pottery. This is a medium size tureen in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks or crazing that I can see. It has the maker's mark Loucarte pottery Made in Portugal. It is a late 20th century item and the color is not a bright white. The tureen has simple, classic lines with a ribbed design and scroll handles. It would certainly accent any white ironstone collection and compliment a French country, cottage farmhouse look.
The simple design would also accent a modern rustic decor.
