Ahoy Matey! Purchased this vintage Fleetwood wooden model boat at a recent estate sale. It was in the original box and the boat is in really nice condition. It has a battery powered outboard electric motor. My hope was that when she started up she would purr like a kitten. Unfortunately I couldn't get the old classic started. The electric motor does not work, but perhaps the right mechanic would have better luck than I. Putting that matter aside the model is really cute for the collector. This is a 1950's toy item distributed by K & O Models, Inc. The wooden finish is amazing and it appears to have been well taken care of. The box it came in is in good shape and it even has some of the original packing paper with it. What a nice maritime find!
