Standard Envelopes (eSE) use a unique tracking system that is different from traditional USPS tracking. Here\'s how it works:

1. Routing Code: When you ship an eSE, a routing code is printed on the label. This code helps expedite the sorting process at USPS facilities.

2. Sorting Machine Scans: Sorting machines scan the routing code as the envelope moves through the mailstream. These scans trigger updates in the tracking system.

3. Limited Tracking: Unlike traditional USPS tracking, which provides detailed scans at each location, eSE tracking only shows two basic statuses: \"Shipped\" and \"Delivered.\"

4. No Acceptance or Delivered Scans: The routing codes cannot be read by USPS carrier scanners, so there are no scans showing acceptance at the origin post office or delivery at the destination.

5. Estimated Delivery Date: provides an estimated delivery date based on the shipping origin and destination. However, this is just an estimate, and the actual delivery time may vary.

6. Buyer View: Buyers can see the tracking information in their purchase history. It will show the same \"Shipped\" and \"Delivered\" statuses as the seller sees.

7. Seller Protection: Despite the limited tracking, offers seller protection for eSE shipments up to $20. If a buyer claims they didn\'t receive the item,you can file a claim with for reimbursement.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind about eSE tracking:

Tracking updates may not be immediate. It can take up to 24 hours for a scan to be reflected in the tracking system.

Tracking information may not be available for all shipments. For example, if an eSE is shipped internationally, tracking may not be available once it leaves the US.
