Brumm Handcrafted Wood Wood box with velvet interior.

This beautiful handmade inlaid wood decorative box by artist Norman Brumm (1939 - 2008) is an intricate work of art. Made up of pieces of wood of various sizes and species that reveal the grain pattern and color of the wood on the sides and top of the box. Brass hinges hold the lid and the artist marking "Brumm" is on the bottom of the box. Brumm's brutalist box works are rare and highly collectible.
