Vintage Borghese Bookends Pair Gold Leaf Par Carle Vernet Etching Italy:

A rare an elegant pair of antique Borghese gold leaf bookends. They are made by Borghese Italy and have an engraving print by Par Carle Vernet on each. Composed of plaster and metal and there is a protective brown felt on the undersides of one and one is missing felt. Measures 6.5" tall x 5”wide x 5" deep. They appear to be well made and in very good vintage condition. Small notch in side of one and in excellent shape for vintage age, showed in photos.
