This sale is for a pair of original Audix AM6/17A compressor/limiters in custom wooden lunchbox. They are tested and fully functional. They sound like they should. Cosmetically they are in a good condition.
These compressor/limiters are the bomb. Lots of bang for the buck! Similar models were built by both Neve and Calrec in the seventies to meet BBC specifications. The AM6/17A is very similar to a Neve 32264 [i.e. discrete 33609]. Great for tracking and mixing vocals, guitars and drums or stereo mix. Vintage King just sold a pair for $3500.
