Vintage Apothecary Balance Scale Oak Case Marble Top For Sale

Vintage apothecary balance scale which was used in the pharmacy where I worked 60 years ago. It is much older than that as the pharmacist had gotten a new one many years before I started work there. It bears no name but shows a lot of wear and tear through daily use. It looks like the marble top had had something mounted on the rear part due to four empty holes remaining. The left side top mounting screw has split the oak end panel as can be seen in the picture. There is a lot of tarnish/patina on the metal parts and the pointers won\'t line up properly.
