THIS ITEM IS----a beautiful original HEAVY DUTY ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE FISHTAIL SCALE, this came from the amazing science collector, curiorter ELLI BUK (google him), *** SIGNED HOWE SCALE......VT ( VERMONT ), INDUSTRIAL TOOL HEAVY DUTY CAST IRON AND SOLID BRASS COUNTRY STORE SCALE, IN VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT AGED CONDITION ( PLEASE VIEW MY PHOTO'S ). IT STILL WORKS but i have not tested for accuracy AND RETAINS THE COLORFUL ORIGINAL FACTORY PAINT AS SHOWN!! IT IS VERY NOSTALGIC LOOKING IN PERSON!! IT IS QUITE HEAVY, SOLID, CLEAN, STRONG, AND WELL MADE!! DISPLAY SIZE: 9 3/4 " HIGH TO TOP OF SOLID BRASS PAN, X 10 " DEEP and 20 INCH LONG (from end of pan to end of hanging weight). THIS SCALE HAS 2 BRASS WEIGHT LINES one for ounces and one for lbs. with connected movable weights, there is a removable attached weight at the end marked 8983 and to this you can add more weights (not included) IT HAS NOT BEEN WASHED, CLEANED, OR OILED WHICH WILL BRING OUT ITS NATURAL BEAUTY AND LUSTER!!
