This listing is for a Rare round Aerolux style “Fluer de Light” Light Bulb by ABCO & its original extremely hard to find box. The design features an interesting flame shaped bendable filament that is extra durable. A magnet affixed in the top makes it go mad and flutter wildly around. The effect is great, between a flame and an aurora almost. It has a nice multicolored flicker too. This fully working bulb is fantastic for display during the day or night, but when the sun goes down is when it really pops! The best way to describe these bulbs is they glow like a lightsaber- photos just don’t so justice. These vintage bulbs were made in the late 1960s - 70s. My thought was always to get a sputnik style lamp and put 20 or 30 of these on at once! The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely wont have! It is a great collectors item, for use display gifting or decor

It is in good condition, with no major damage to the bulb. As far as I can tell, it fully works and is in great shape, with no major bald spots or color loss. I am unsure how many watthours it has on it- likely less than 1, it is guaranteed for over 1,000 but I have heard of them lasting far far longer. Possibly even New old stock as the previous owner had many nos spares.
