Description

This sale is for a Vintage S Scale American Flyer “Bethlehem Steel” Gondola Car! This is a nice grey plastic train car with red printing and marked “Bethlehem Steel 24125” on both sides. The train car is marked on the inside “American Flyer Mfd. By The A.C. Gilbert Co. New Haven, Conn. U.S.A.” and “PA-9986” on its bottom. As shown in the photos, the train car is in fair to good condition with nice colors and details. It does have some play wear, including some small marks and light scratches. The gondola is missing one axle, and one of the knuckle couplers is broken. I believe this train car is most likely 1950s or 1960s vintage. This vintage American Flyer S Scale Bethlehem Steel gondola car would make a nice addition to your collection!
