Vintage 1950s Ted Williams Wilson A2040 Baseball Glove in Box Boston Red Sox USA
This Glove was Made in the USA and is in very good condition for it's age.
Stored in it's original box since new this glove even has it's original paper hang tag attached.
Glove leather is still very soft and supple.
There are someimperfections, scuffs, scratches and what appears to be a slight watermark in the pocket. I believe this to be all shelf wear and not from actual usage of the glove.(please see photos)
The lining is butter smooth with no cracking.
All laces are original and intact with no broken laces.
Wilson Sewn on Patch is free or ink or flaws.
Stamping is strong and is ready to display.
Hang tag is in good shape with minimal wear to corners.
Piping is also in very good condition with no cracking.
The Original Box with Lid is also included.
As seen in the pictures the box does have some shelf wear including watermarks, rips and tears.
The original tissue paper is also included in the bottom of the box.
The glove and box will make a great Christmaspresent or additionto your collection!
